Membership

The Knowlton School Alumni Society (KSAS) has three membership options offered in partnership with The Ohio State University Alumni Association. All graduates of the Knowlton School are automatically enrolled as members of the KSAS upon graduation, which include graduates of the Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and City and Regional Planning programs prior to the school’s current home at Knowlton Hall. However, additional member benefits are offered to alumni that contribute to the KSAS Support Fund. This fund helps our society provide more alumni engagement opportunities and contributes to our society’s student scholarship fund as well.

Option 1) Basic membership
All graduates of the Knowlton School are automatically members of the KSAS at no cost; benefits include:

• Ability to connect and build relationships with other society members
• Networking with Knowlton School alumni, faculty, students and supporters at KSAS events and programs.

Option 2) Alumni Donor membership
A $25 donation to the KSAS Support Fund includes the following member benefits in addition to Basic Membership:

• Donation qualifies for OSUAA Alumni Donor Membership
• Receive advanced notice of society event including professional continuing education units (CEUs)
• Donation can contribute to OSUAA Sustaining Membership
• Donors without a Knowlton School degree can gain membership to KSAS with the contribution at this amount
• Contribution is tax-deductible as a charitable donation
• Receive a printed copy of the ‘Knowlton Year in Review’ magazine

Option 3) Life Donor membership
A monthly gift of $10 or higher or annual gift of $150 or more to any Knowlton Fund includes the following benefits in addition to Alumni Donor Membership:

• Donation qualifies for OSUAA Life Donor Membership
• Ticket opportunities for Ohio State sporting events through the society (members with current sustaining membership status)
• Access to Wexner Center gallery and architecture tours, custom-tailored events especially for alumni, and ticket discounts to select events
• Ohio State graduates receive benefits through Huntington Bank and Nationwide Insurance
• Access to KSAS Membership Directory
• Ability to serve on the KSAS board
• Reduced rates and priority registrations for CEU and KSAS Sponsored events
